At
AARC we recognise the importance of effective
communications both within our own organisation
and with all our clients and we work hard to ensure
we maintain good lines of communication with all
our stakeholders.
We also recognise that clients may need support
in this critical area and we can provide a communications
advisory service which covers many areas of a
company's operations.
We recognise that clients will be conducting operations
that are exposed to the possibility of a business-damaging
incident and may have a crisis management program
which ranges from effective to non-existent. An
emergency or crisis management plan is required
for each mining project.
We can provide clients with a consistent and cost
effective crisis management and recovery program,
which will bring a range of strategic and logistical
solutions to any business critical situation.
In the event of a crisis situation we can either
provide the complete team, or supplement a
client's
core crisis management team and the existing managerial
skills, thus allowing them to focus on business
continuity planning and getting the business back
on track.
We can deliver independent, comprehensive fully
documented solutions with structures, methodologies
and immediate access to a breadth of experienced
people to support a business quickly and effectively. |

We
can implement a number of services including: |
|
| |
|

| |
|

the commercial impact of a range of possible
crises facing the client including financial
quantification. |
|
Working
with a client to assess all potential risks
and rating those risks as part of an overall
crisis assessment program. |
|
Identification
and assessment of a range of strategic options
available to the client in the event of
a crisis occurring. |
|
Consideration
of practical solutions in consultation with
legal representatives and industry specialists
that complement ongoing business operations. |
|
Developing
comprehensive communications strategies
as required by law with the Australian Stock
Exchange, and to communicate with media,
customers, suppliers, communities, governments,
banks and financiers, as well as all other
stakeholders.
|
|
Production
of comprehensive plans in either written
or electronic form. |
|
Training
programs to ensure clients management and
staff are prepared for a range of incidents
and crisis. |
|
Working
with client management to prepare business
continuity plans in the event of a crisis
to ensure that the company returns to its
pre crisis position as soon as possible. |
|
|
| |
During
a crisis an organisation and its management team
will be subjected to intense pressure that will
be applied from a number of directions, both internally
and externally.
The effect of these pressures and demands can
be daunting, confusing and chaotic, and the sheer
volume and magnitude of some of the issues may
be staggering to some inexperienced management
teams. At the time of a crisis the luxury of careful
analysis is not available and lines of prioritisation
can become blurred.
We can offer clients all important support and
a service that would assist in reducing the impact
of a crisis through a full crisis management service
and business continuity program that will only
benefit a client??s business. |
