On 8 March 2018 the Government introduced the Vegetation Management and Other Legislation Amendment Bill 2018 to Parliament which proposes to deliver more sustainable vegetation management laws for Queensland. The Amendment Bill proposes to change some unregulated areas of vegetation (category X on the Regulated Vegetation Management Maps) to regulated areas.
